Laura Bertoncini holds a five year Master’s Degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from East West School of Natural Medicine Sarasota, Florida. East West School of Natural Medicine is one of the top Traditional Chinese Medicine schools in Florida. Ms. Bertoncini graduated top of her class from
East West School of Natural Medicine. She was awarded an externship at HealthSouth Hospital in Sarasota. She worked alongside with the medical staff on patients with an array of conditions which include head trauma, CVA, COPD, cardiac conditions, orthopedic injuries, mental and emotional issues, autoimmune disorders, urinary disorders, respiratory disorders and trauma due to auto accidents. Ms. Bertoncini also utilizes Reiki in her practice. She has completed level one and two of Reiki. She has also been trained in Auricular Medicine by Doctor Huang of Orlando. Ms. Bertoncini is nationally board certified in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine by the NCCAOM (National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine).
Ms. Bertoncini graduated in 2001 with honors from Florida Metropolitan University in Tampa with a degree in Business. Ms. Bertoncini has also owned and operated her own medical practice in Florida for several years before working with Dr. Hermann.
In summary, Ms. Bertoncini has overall ten years experience in Western and Eastern Medicine along with experience running a successful western medical practice. Laura Bertoncini believes in one on one patient care, and as evident by her background, has learned the importance of the mind, body and spirit as well as the gentle, caring bedside manner needed to make each patient relaxed and comfortable. This, coupled with her enthusiasm and desire to transform the patient’s health, enables her to implement a preventive medical approach.
